First night with mommy away
Auntie Monika and Uncle Chris both stayed over last night! I got to snuggle with Monika and knead Chris with my claws. (Auntie Monika said that this was a great way to do this).

I like pj's
Monika left out a pair of pj's and I am having a nice little snuggle! (And it only took Monika an hour to figure out how to download pics from my mommy's iPhone!)
Day One!
Today my mommy left me to go on a long trip! I am happy snuggling with Monika, though, and am a purring machine! It's a little weird because Monika brought in a bunch of stuff; wondering if she is going to stay for a bit?!

Soon...
In less than a month, my mom goes away to India. And THAT is when the party starts.
Auntie Monika is going to hang out with my at my awesome pad, and we are going to watch Sex in the City and snuggle and eat copious amounts of treats that my mother, who considers herself a fat activist, won't allow me to indulge in.
Sure, bodies of all sizes are beautiful, she says. But she insists I follow an oppressive diet that doesn't allow me to really express myself.
When she is gone I am going to try on all of her expensive make up and throw up in her shoes. (Auntie Monika has promised to take me out to the bars!)
